MINIVAN INVITATIONAL

This February, we are excited to host Vancouver’s first sanctioned speed skating meet in almost a decade!

The MiniVan Invitational is a half-day “mini-meet”: a local event that gives Vancouver skaters the opportunity to race invited athletes from across the region. It’s also a chance for our club to train as officials to prepare for the Kitsilano Classic, the full-day regional meet we will host on Saturday September 27, 2025. 

Spectators are welcome to attend and watch! We’re looking forward to a great time on the ice!

  • Time: Monday, February 17, 2025 – racing starts at 9am and ends at 1pm. 
  • Place: Kitsilano Rink, 2690 Larch St
  • Registration: For VVSSC members only plus others invited through their clubs
